The City Deal is anticipated to generate 15,000 construction jobs during the construction period and 29,000 permanent additional jobs once construction is complete; give the City Region a permanent uplift in its Gross Value Added (GVA) of £2.2billion per annum and unlock £3.3billion of private sector investment.

- Attending local business engagement events.
- Visiting our Procurement area to find out more about City Deal contracts / timescales as well as work underway to streamline bid tender process and documentation across the eight member authorities.
- Supporting Community Benefits requirements in City Deal contracts which help suppliers give something back to the local area.
