GIS helps inform an understanding of the spatial patterns and relationships of both economic and other data across the region. This supports a range of research and projects.

Examples range from identifying industrial clusters, town centre reviews to examining worker supply in relation to locations.  Outputs include maps, data, and online tools, including interactive maps and dashboards, as well as a data hub through which these finding can be shared.
