The Supplier Development Programme is partnering with the Scottish Government, Scotland Excel and Business Gateway for its annual Meet the Buyer event at Hampden on September 28th 2017.
Scotland’s largest, free procurement event brings together buyers from across the public sector and with private tier 1 contractors also present, offering businesses the opportunity to speak directly to buyers and decision makers.
Over 60 organisations will be present on the day, including representatives from the Glasgow City Region City Deal who will provide information on upcoming City Deal contract opportunities, including timing, value and category.
The public sector spends £11 billion a year on procurement. The event will provide an opportunity to find out more about the public sector tendering process and key tips on how to improve your chance of success.
Delegates can attend a series of business development workshops and link in direcly with business support agencies for advice and support on how to develop all aspects of your business.
