Have your say: take part in the Foundational Economy survey launched today for Glasgow City Region

The Glasgow City Region Foundational Economy survey is now live – and we need your help to better understand the challenges the Foundational Economy faces.

The Foundational Economy is the part of the economy which supplies everyday but essential goods and services – including construction, hospitality and leisure, retail, education, childcare, health, and social care, among others.

Take part in the survey online by clicking here.

The survey responses will play a crucial role in shaping the development of the Region’s Foundational Economy programme.

By identifying the challenges and opportunities within these sectors, we aim to create a programme that supports businesses as well as creating fair work opportunities for local people.

This may include tailoring local business support, as well as creating a Challenge Fund which offers grants to businesses working within the Foundational Economy.

The survey is open from 9 September 2024 to 20 October 2024.
