Catalina Lavados
Economic Analyst Graduate
Catalina joined the Intelligence Hub team in 2025 as an Economic Analyst Graduate. Originally from Chile, she studied Business Management and holds an MSc in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, with a focus on impact measurement and sustainable business.
At the Intelligence Hub, Catalina contributes to the development of the Glasgow City Region Innovation Action Plan, with a focus on designing impact development frameworks for inclusive innovation and strengthening the regional innovation ecosystem baseline. She is also supporting the economic development strategy for Inverclyde.
Her professional experience spans the wine, consulting, and social innovation sectors, including research on the economic impact of microfinance for migrant communities and the design of support tools for women entrepreneurs in Latin America. She has worked in research analysis, strategic marketing, and project management, bringing a cross-sector perspective and a strong commitment to inclusive growth, evidence-based decision making, and driving positive social, environmental, and economic impact.
